The Lake Challenge is a time-limited side event in Dream Bay where you work your way through a series of tasks. Make it all the way to the end and you'll earn a share of the grand prize! 🏆
⭐️ You may also see this event under a different name, such as Maya Challenge or Race Through the Canyon! All versions share the same mechanics with a fresh new theme. 🌴🏜️
How Does It Work?
- Join the event: When active, tap the event icon or banner to enter.
- Complete tasks one by one: Each step requires completing one task on your main board. Complete it to move to the next step! 🎯
- Beat the clock: ⏰ Tasks have a 1-hour timer. If it runs out, a new task for that same step will appear with a fresh hour. You won't lose your overall progress!
- Keep going until you reach the end: Tasks get harder as you go, so keep up the momentum! Check the event screen anytime to track your progress.
You may notice other participants alongside you during the event - these are NPCs (non-player characters) added to enhance the event atmosphere. They are there purely for the experience and have no effect on your results or rewards. Outcomes are based on pre-defined probabilities.
How Do the Rewards Work? 🏆
There are no rewards for completing individual steps. Everything is riding on the finish line!
Once you reach and complete the final step, you'll receive a pre-defined portion of the grand prize.
The portion you receive is calculated based on the following probabilities:
- 5% chance of sharing the Grand Prize between 5 winners
- 45% chance of sharing the prize between 4 winners
- 45% chance of sharing the prize between 3 winners
- 4% chance of sharing the prize between 2 winners
- 1% chance of taking it all as the 1 winner!
💡 Important: Players who don't reach the final step and complete all tasks before the event ends will not earn a reward.
Keep in Mind 📝
- If a task timer runs out, it just resets for the same step; you don't lose your overall progress.
